Cathy Wippell is an activist turned writer/actor with a special interest in films with an environmental message. She set up Silicon Gothic with Joseph Archer as a tool to bring new and exciting dark comedy and horror, as well as a more sustainable attitude, to filmmaking to the forefront of the UK industry.

Joseph Archer is an award-winning director and producer of comedy films and sketches. His current and previous work has screened at Bafta-qualifying film festivals, such as Raindance, Encounters, Aesthetica, and Carmarthen Bay Film Festival.
